Medela Comfort Nursing Bra
This bra has a reputation for being a comfortable bra that has good support for many different cup sizes, and is supposed to be a good sleep bra. The clip is described as being easy to use, and the fabric is supposed to be nice and stretchy. But I want to tell you why I won’t be getting it – despite all those great features.
First, I think it’s ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it is nighttime wear, but I like flattering stuff. I do have a husband in my bed, after all, and I like clothes that I’m not embarrassed to be seen in. Finally, what if this bra was the only comfy, clean bra in my drawer, and I needed to dress for town or something? I’d rather have a bra I’d be proud to wear, with a nice v-line.
Second, I hate clips for my sleep bra. Really! Who wants to mess with even the easiest clip at 3 am? Count me out. I read one review where the purchaser actually had a clip that shattered, which just reinforces my anti-clip bias. Now, in fairness to the manufacturer Medela, I am sure that bra had a rare defect. That bra has gotten tons of good reviews, so I am sure clips aren’t shattering left and right.
So that’s why I’m not buying one. Maybe it will work for you.
