Study: Prolactin Medication For Breastfeeding

I don’t know if you’ve heard of medications that enhance breastmilk supply, but if this subject interests you, you might want to take a look at this study.

Conclusion:
In summary, r-hPRL can cause expressible galactorrhea. Seven days of r-hPRL administration does not adversely affect bone turnover or menstrual cyclicity. Thus, r-hPRL may be a viable option for short-term lactation augmentation.Trial registrationClinical Trials.gov NCT00438490
