This UNICEF promotional video was created a couple of years ago to encourage women to breastfeed within one hour after giving birth. According to the video, “this keeps the baby healthy and strong and strengthens the bond between mother and child.” I had not seen this video until recently and thought I would post it to have here on the web site with the other breastfeeding videos. When my oldest child was 3 months old we had to travel to the United States from Germany, where she was born. We traveled by plane from Berlin to Frankfort before going on to New York. While we were in Frankfort we were delayed several hours due to maintenance on the aircraft. All of the passengers were pretty much imprisoned in a small waiting area inside of the secure portion of the terminal. We were not allowed to leave that area because our bags were already on the plane and there was no security check point to re-clear us for boarding. More on Baby Can’t Eat Airline Food
